You're able to switch between these four different stances and change his flow and mechanics. But even when he's not in Devil Trigger, Dante's attacks tend to focus on dishing out massive amounts of raw attack power in a short time-making him a particularly fun character to play. Some of his key combat skills change slightly too, which can mean all the difference. When activated, Dante will slowly regenerate any lost health and dish out significantly increased damage. Overall, Devil May Cry 5 is a good action slashing game. The cutscenes story was great with cheesy dialogue. I did find the camera movements to be annoying when you have to force move it to see your enemies on the other side. I liked how the twist folds back to Dante. Trish and Lady being back into the fold with Dante. The characters are fun with the storyline. Dante is fun with getting a lot of new weapons and swords. V was a lot of fun but got boring after a while.
Each character has their own combat style. There is a twist in the story about the villain. I enjoy playing Dantes missions more than the other characters.
The best part of the storyline is Dante which shows up in the middle of the game. Who uses his magical powers of a black demonic crow and panther to fight the enemies for him. Then, a new mysterious character V is introduced. Which he is causing chaos and destroying what looks to be england. Facing against a new threat Uniziel or something like that. But the story never stays in one place with bouncing around between characters. It takes place in one day with a few flash backs. Which he is playable as well as Nero and Dante. Dmc is back with a lot of fast paced action and slash em up fighting. Devil May Cry 5 is back and an improvement over the fourth game which was forgettable.
